WordPad and Paint are part of the Windows Setup. Have your Windows cd ready then on the startup menu go to Setting>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs click on the Windows setup tab. Click on Accessories then the "Details" button. Put a check mark next to WordPad and Paint then click OK. You will have to put your Cd in the CD-ROM and it should install WP & Paint.

Rather than use Wordpad why not try Atlantis Nova? it is free, smaller than Wordpad and much better. You can get it from this site. www.rssol.com

There are two versions of Atlantis. Nova which is free and Ocean mind (a very silly name but a great prog')OM is non expiring shareware.
