My boss's e-mails are infested with a yellow font. So, needless to say, this is an important matter. I've checked all of his font settings (both Outlook and system) etc... but no yellow. The yellow appears randomly to some of his recipients, and comes back to him through replies. Sometimes a whole response is in yellow (but other parts of the e-mail correspondence is in black or blue) and other times its his disclaimer/signature which becomes a yellow font.

What could be causing his Outlook 2003 to have a yellow font appear so often? I've never had a problem with his e-mails, but other here and outside our company have.

It's annoying and time consuming for him to have to "adjust" each e-mail by clearing the formatting of each e-mail.

To describe the granduer of this problem, he uses his e-mail to send out a couple hundred legitimate emails corresponding with individuals and businesses a day.

Also, this has been going on for quite some time, he's just now had enough and brought it to my attention. No new programs have been installed, nothing has changed in quite some time.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

While I appreciate the reply and solution attempt... it doesn't resolve the issue.

He doesn't have any rules currently set up in Outlook. I believe this is a problem with Outlook, one which shouldn't need to be resolved through a fancy new rule.

Any other suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've just had the same problem. I found a simple fix which may help you. In Outlook, go to Tools, Options, Mail Format and change 'Compose in this message format' from 'html' to 'rich text'.
