I need some help with an Excel IF Function. Let me see if I can explain this without confusing everyone. I have a sheet with times that employees are working and their name underneath. I then made a seperate sheet to pull the name of the house they are working into their schedule sheet. I want excel to reference 2 seperate cells and place the name of the house in the cell if her name appears. This is the formula I have so far. =IF(Desloge!A16="Agee", "Desloge", ""), IF(Desloge!A14="Agee", "Desloge", "") It keeps giving me the VALUE error. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Your construction of the Nested IF seems incorrect.

The second IF has to be the value_if_false of the first IF.

Try something like this (untested):

=IF(Desloge!A16="Agee", "Desloge", IF(Desloge!A14="Agee", "Desloge", "") )
