I am trying to reinstall MS Office 2003. But, it's reading that it can't find an earlier version 97, 2000 or XP. I don't have any of these versions. How can I install 2003 without an earlier version or where can I get a free earlier version so I can then reinstall?

Where did you get the CDs? Is it possible you have an upgrade CD (Although I've never seen that in Office.)?
What is the EXACT error you're getting?

The box did not say upgrade (MS Office standard edition 2003). BUT, I just noticed on the disc is says upgrade. The message says the product key requires a version of MS 97, 2000 or XP, which I do not have. Any ideas short of buying a new version of Outlook? I do have MS Office 2007 installed also, but it doesn't contain Outlook, which is what I need.

Depending on which version of Office you have, Outlook should be included. What exact version do you have? Why not return the upgrade and get another version.
