greyed out option - Word

In word, when i go to Format >>> background >>> printed watermark. The printed watermark is greyed out. Any ideas?

I have Word 2000 and the only way to make a watermark is by going into Header/Footer. *kinda wierd if you ask me* Don't know why your option is grayed out... but that might be another solution for you.

I have Word XP (with Office Service Pack 2) and it works fine for me... There's a program Windows Enabler lets you "enable" grayed out menu items, buttons, checkboxes, etc... so you might want to try it (after reading the warnings on the webpage).
