My home PC has Word 2000, my laptop has Word 2003. After using a document on my laptop, will I be able to open it on my PC with the Word 2000. I wasn't sure if you could open a newer Word doc. with an older version of Word. And since I haven't received my new laptop yet, I can't check. Thanks!

No problem to exchange documents between Word 2003 and 2000 versions, other than they must not relay upon the most advanced version's features. If a document exploits a feature only supported in the 2003 release, that will not work properly under the older version. but that case is very unlikely for documents usually handled!
