Specs: Macintosh
Im making a costume Task list which has a calender.
I know who to format and change all of the cell hight
and width, but the thing is I need to customize the
single cell A2 through A8 which I want a specific
hight and width on just those cells. I took class a few
years back, tho i cant remember if the was a way to
customize the hight and width of the single cell?

What do you mean by:
I need to customize the single cell A2 through A8

A2 thru A8 is not a single cell.....

You've got me confused.

Do you mean you want to change only the width/height of A2-

Changing the height of those cells, will change the height of
the Rows. (Row2-Row8)

Changing the width of any cell in the A2-A8 range, will also
change the width of the entire ColumnA.

Cells are not separate entities in Excel.
They are part of Rows and Columns.

Modifying dimensions of cells, will affect the relevant
Rows/Columns as well.

I don't know exactly what you need, but to get small parts of a row or column to be different heights or widths, without affecting the whole row or whole column, you can merge some cells together.

Select cells to be merged and right-click - select Format Cells... and Alignment Tab and Merge cells. There is also an icon to merge cells using the Ribbon - but I don't have Excel 2007 on this PC, so I can't walk you through it.
