Can’t Find ‘HTML Format’ In Paste Special In Word 2007

  • 2

I’m still trying every which way to copy/paste from the web into Word 2007 (Windows XP) something I’ve always done successfully until 5 days ago – a question I posed yesterday to the community.

Someone has suggested to highlight from web,’Ctrl-c’ then open up Paste special in Word doc and select ‘HTML format’ (to insert contents of clipboard as HTML format). BUT I don’t have this option……I only have Unformatted Text & Unformatted Unicode Text.

How do I bring up this option to check if this will indeed be the answer to my original dilemma.
Any help gratefully received

  1. Here is what i did to solve the problem.
    1. Office Button => Word Options
    2. Advance => Cut, copy, and paste
    3. Pasting from other programs: *change it to anything other than Keep Source Formatting (Default).
    4. Ok and exit out.
Repeat 1 to 3, but this time pick Keep Source Formatting (Default).

This solve the problem for me, but i can’t figure out what caused it.
