I have a user who created and secured pdf files using Adobe Acrobat. Well, you guessed it, he's forgotten the password. According to Adobe, if that happens, you're out of luck.
I'm looking around, but anyone know of a way to find the password to remove the Security on the pdf?
Any help is much appreciated.. Thanks...

Hi
depends if the master password is set
you used to be able to to it easily on earlier version of Adb but latest versions i dont know.On the 'light side' you need to look around for a cheap alternative & oddly named
http://www.adultpdf.com/products/pw...
then theres expensive

im also not sure wether you can convert passworded pdf to word then back to pdf? via primo
hopefully someone here has a better suggestion , (straws come to mind, sry)

Thanks for the info. I'll check out your two links. Unfortunately, I can't even do a copy and paste, since the user secured the pdfs disallowing everything but opening and printing.
Thanks again.
