Can anyone tell me how I can make a Flow chart (without having to manually position and draw all the boxes and lines myself) with Excel 2000, or any part of office 2000? I also have Corel Suite 8. I know next to nothing about office software, other than how to install it.

As far as I am aware you will have to draw it all by hand as your data flow diagram will be unique to your system, I have just had to draw one myself for part of a project maintenance document, I used MS Powerpoint, firstly I created the templates for the process, the data store etc and then copied and pasted them before labelling, long winded yes but while your waiting for a doubtful positive reply here you may as well just do it.

Apparently system design programs such as Rational Rose will draw a interaction diagram from code inputted but I have not tried this and if you want a DFD it cannot do that.
