Specs: Windows XP
PLEASE HELP! I'm stuck using excel 2003 :( I am wanting to flag a date with colors. I have beginning at cell F2, F3, F4 and so on set up as the in date. Cell G2 - infinity is set up as the completion date. What I would like to happen:
when there is no completion date entered 10 days after the in date the completion date cell turns yellow.
If there is not a completion date entered 20 days after the in date the cell turns orange.
If no completion date 30 days after the in date the cell would turn red.

I'm sorry if I didn't explain what I'm asking for very well, but any help would truly be appreciated!! Thank you.

Read up on Conditional Formatting in the Excel Help files.

By setting the proper conditions, you can accomplish what you are asking for.

Tip: You'll be comparing the cell with the "in-date" to the TODAY() function in your condition.

Thank you so much for the information =) I have read everything that I can find, and yet I'm still not's harder to find the info on 2003 unfortunetly. All I can figure is I'm going to need something along the lines of TODAY()+20 - select color orange. . . something along those lines?
