Need some help viewing & saving video clips on both IE and Firefox.

Using Firefox, I'm not able to open / view on web pages any video files particularly Source MPG Types. When I double click in the frame instead of seeing the video clip open up & run, I get only the message "Click here to Download Plug In". When I click this I get "Apple Quick Time - Install" but it will not automatically install. I then install the latest Quick Time manually, but still can not open / view the video clip in Firefox.

I then have to open up IE Browser (in the same PC) to see this video clip no problem. Is there any setting I need to change to view these clips through Firefox or do I have to use 2 Browsers?

Another strange thing is that using an older version of IE, I can "right click" on the same video clip and get a list of options which includes "Save To" so I can save the video clip to any directory I want to view the clip off line.

When I use a later version of IE on my other PC, I "Right Click" the same video clip but on the option list I don't have the "Save To" option, only Stop/Pause, Zoom, Volume, etc. Where in the world is the "Save To" option? Is there an IE setting somewhere that I have to activate to "save" these clips to a directory using this "newer" version of IE?

Seems absurd but to do what I want to do, I'm using 3 Browsers & 2 PC's, and I can't believe that there isn't a simple solution to this simple task.

Thanks for any help on this.

Best regards, MC
