Specs: Windows XP
When I set up OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6 for other people that uses a different ISP from my own, how do I find the port numbers and mail server address that THAT ISP uses as it relates to OE 6 that I need to enter into the form? I was told there are no UNIVERSAL STANDARDS used for this purpose. As a non customer I cannot get the info from a given ISP, they will not give it to me. Is there a published list of that info listed by the ISP in alphabetical order? In this case

Looking on the website of the ISP in question is the way to obtain this information. This information is normally available to anyone. Port numbers are usually standard and the web page will tell you if they are otherwise. Any list would require an enormous effort to compile and it would be incomplete and obsolete the day it was published.
