I have an excel file that for whatever reason the FIND function no longer works.
I know for a fact that the name Bob or Mike is around and the FIND fuction can't find it.
It use to with no problem and for some reason out of the blue it stopped?

Any suggestions. I've looked all over the web and can't find anything.

There are a couple of things to look for:

1 - Are you sure that you don't have a specific section of the worksheet selected? For example, if you have any more than a single cell selected, the Find function will only search the selected range.

2 - Look at the Options within the search dialog box. If you have "Match case" or "Match entire cell contents" selected, it will impact how the search function looks for things.
