does anyone know a way to fill down to a certain cell w/o dragging.

situation: i am in cell a27 and i want to fill a formula that adds .01 to the previous cell all the way down to cell a1027....... tell me there is an easier way than dragging?

If there are no empty cells in the range of A27:A1027 then wave over the bottom right hand corner of A27 so that you see the Black Crosshairs icon and then double click on it to envoke the Autofill function or

If there are no empty cells in the adjacent column down to B1027 then it will work or

Place any data in A1027 just to fill the cell. Then place your formula in A27, hit enter.

Right click on A27 and select Copy.

Then hit Ctrl+Shift+down arrow to select the column down to A1027 (last filled cell) and

then hit the Enter key to copy the formula into all of those cells.
