File size too large for transmitting

July 5, 2011 at 07:19:51
Specs: Windows XP Pro, 4/.99
I sent an email a few days ago with an attachment that was 56MB. It has been stuck in my outbox and when I hit send/ little icon on the right-hand bottom screen keeps trying to send but nothing happens. It won't let me delete or move because it says it already started transmitting.

56MB is way too big to send via email. The mail server at your ISP will just reject it anyway if it ever managed to get that far.

To delete it from your Inbox, open Outlook and click File >> Work Offline.

You should now be able to delete it.

Now put Outlook back online again by again clicking File >> Work Offline
