I have been working on a ebook using MS Word 2000. I have recently experienced a problem accessing the .doc files I'm working on. I got a message saying that the .doc files are not available. I went to Microsoft.com and tried to work through their suggestions. I renamed the .dot files in the startup folder, renamed the Normal.dot template to Normal.old, and when that didn't work I upgraded to Word 2002.
I still get the "File Not Available" error message.

Please Help.

Gene
