Hi, just a quick question. I want to be able to send/recieve faxes via Outlook rather than using traditional fax machine. Do i need any other software or will this do everything?

You cant send faxes with Outlook or any other Email client. Email is essentially a digital system. Fax is an analogue system. To send faxes from your computer you would need 56K analogue modem with fax capabilities.
What you can do though is subscribe to an Email to Fax service.
You send your email to them and they send it on as a fax. They also receive Faxes on your behalf and send them onto you as an Email.
There are lots of suppliers like this. Just put Email to fax into Google.

Stuart, You are partially correct. If you are using Outlook '07, you can Fax from it. It does however like you said require an Internet fax program such as e-Fax which is what I have used for years on its own, but I now have it integrated into Outlook '07

I normally agree with Stuart, and highly appreciate his computer knowledge, but this time I must disagree. :)
It is possible to use Outlook (and other Office Suite programs) to send faxes. You'd have to sign up with an Internet Fax service to do so.
