Good afternoon.

This doesn't happen with all e-mails but, sometimes I open and e-mail message and go to print it. The output is extremely small. The font size is probably 2pt font and hardly readable.

I have tried different printers, used Microsoft's "solution" of setting the font size to Smallest on both Outlook Express and Internet Explorer, reboot Windows and then go back in and set the font size to Medium again. Didn't work.

I am using Outlook Express 6 by the way.

Anyone have a solution to this?

Thanks!

Here's a couple of options:

For a temporary solution for only the problematic message:

1. Forward the message to yourself and choose Format‑>Plain Text. You may not be able to convert the forwarded message back to HTML, but the original message should remain intact.
2. Copy and paste the message into a text file and print that.
3. Take a screen shot (Alt-Print Scr) and paste that into a document and print it.

A more permanent solution would be to go to the main Outlook Express window and choose Tools‑>Options‑>Read and check the "Read all messages in plain text" option. If you reverse the process and deselect the checkbox, all your messages will once again display in HTML; nothing should be lost.

Hope this helps. Without being able to re-create the issue, I can't be of more assistance, sorry. If you want to try forwarding me a message to test, reply here and we can coordinate that.

Have good days.
