Expoertng Data Serial Numbers

Specs: Windows 7

I am exporting serial numbers from Quickbooks. Porblem is if i export say 100 serial numbers it would put all that 100 in say Field A1. I would like however to have each serial numbers listed from A1 to A100. That means field A1 would have a unique serial number followed by A2 all they way to A100. Is there a easy way to do this.

In which format do you export the serial numbers?
If possible, use csv format.
It is a field seperated text file, which can be imported into Excel.
In Excel, you can configure the field seperator, e.g. semicolon, when importing csv file.

If your data is all ending up in A1, you might be able to use Data...Text To Columns to separate the data into A1, B1, C1, etc.

Once the data is separated into columns, you can select the data and do a Copy...PasteSpecial...Transpose to move the data from Row 1 to Column 1.
