Expanding printable area in Word XP

I'm trying to do the book with Word XP. Allmost everything seems to be fine but the print house complained about the PDF file I sent to them. There was no bleeds on it (excess space around normal printable area). So it is allmost impossible to cut.
I'm using Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and it doesn't offer change to insert marks and bleeds co-operating with Word.
So what can I do? I know it's possible to get bleeds to Word documents also.

What paper size have you defined? In order to have bleeds and crop marks the page size should be the size of the parent sheet. However, I do not use Word to prepare documents for publication. Most production work is done in Pagemaker, Quark, or other specialized document processor.
