excel,how to copy cell content to sheets

Specs: Windows XP


Hi, i need some help so if you can help...:)

I have main sheet1 with info on cells b1, c1, d1 than on cells b2, c2, d3...and so on...
What I need is to copy does values to sheet2, sheet3, sheet4...
In order like this:
sheet1 b1 to sheet2 c5
sheet1 b2 to sheet3 c5
sheet1 b3 to sheet4 c5..
can somebody help pls?

Based on the limited information you have provided, the quick answer is:

In Sheet2!C5 enter =Sheet1!B1
In Sheet3!C5 enter =Sheet1!B2
In Sheet4!C5 enter =Sheet1!B3

I'm thinking that there is more to your question than you've posted, but we can't know that unless you tell us.

sorry for limited info.
that is what I was looking for but a have about 300 sheets so I was looking for some easier solution.it takes forever...
on main sheet I have names and dates (300 of them).each name is hyperlinked to a different sheet.what I need is: when I enter a name or date in main sheet for those input to be displayed in the appropriate sheet.
I hope I have explained it better.
