We have an install of Office 2003 Basic Edition (OEM) here at work on my bosses computer. When trying to save an excel file to a networked drive, it tells her that it the drive is either full or write protected (it is netiher).
She can save the xls file locally then copy it to her network drive n/p throgh windows explorer. Word 2003 etc can all save just fine to that directory... does anyone have ANY ideas? Driving me nuts!

I presume this is a share that only shge should have access to.
First thing to try is to see if its possible to save the file to the root of the drive (unless this has been disabled).
I've only seen this before where the path is too long or thare are lots of spaces in the path.

Actually no anyone can save to the share. And she cant save to ANY mapped drive in ANY dir.
Path is not overly long, and, in fact has no spaces.

*should read "Actually anyone can save to the share. And she cant save to ANY mapped drive in ANY dir through Excel (but can through windows explorer n/p)"
