Hey guys! I always appreciate the help here. Question:

I have:
Column A - Name
Column B - City
Column C - College
Column D - Spring 2013
Column E - Fall 2013
Column F- Spring 2014
Column G- Fall 2014

Example:
Name City College Spring 2013 Fall 2013 Spring 2014 Fall 2014
Smith, John Dallas TCU X X
Smith, John Dallas TCU X X
Smith, John San Ant. UTSA X
Williams, Jay Fort Worth TCU L L

This document is about 3000 lines long with different names, cities and colleges. All participation from semester could change as well.

I need a vba program to help sort and combine this document. Example: I need John Smith Dallas TCU to all be on the same row. I need it to combine the rows that have the same name and college with the semesters all included. I need it to look like this....
Name City College Spring 2013 Fall 2013 Spring 2013 Fall 2014
Smith, John Dallas TCU X X X X

I really appreciate the help. This is a huge project I'm working on and figure it would help go faster if I had a program to help run it. Thanks!

You've supplied the input in a readable fashion but not the output. Based on that input, what should the output be? If we guess at what you want, we'll probably get it wrong and waste time writing code that doesn't do what you need it to.

For example, I see 2 columns for Fall 2014, one with an L and one with a C for John Smith Dallas. However, for John Smith, Fort Worth I see an L and a C in the same column for Spring 2014.

I really don't know what kind of output you're looking for.

I figured it out this afternoon. Sorry for the confusion. It's been a while since I've posted on this board. Thanks for the heads up.
