Hi!
I need some help, need to print 99 daily reports, they are all the same, except for the number of the report, from 0 to 99.
I have the excel page centered and ready to print, so the page setup is complete, and the print comes out the way i need.
The problem is that i need something to automaticly print these 99 reports sequentialy inserting the numbers on ## from 0 to 99, on the page cell that has the text " daily report number ## "
It seems to me that i could use a macro, but i dont know hot to work with macros.
can u help me?
thanks a lot
Daniel

thanks Mike,
a header or a footer would do that, the problem is that, this report has a specific design and the numbering must be inside the report, located in the middle.I relly need to number a specific cell, automaticly when printed. this numbering cant be located neither on the top nor in the end of the page. must be inside onde cell..
thank you though.

Sounds like something that you would need a VBA for.
Unfortunately, my VBA skills are just above nil.
Perhaps someone else can offer assistance.

I found this and it seems to be what your looking for:
http://www.dailydoseofexcel.com/arc...
It uses "Defined Names"
I haven't tried to print, but it will give you the "page # of # pages" within a cell.
Just modify the "Pageofpages" defined name to suit your needs.
