Hi, I was just wondering if there is a way
of formatting the following...
I have a SAP report that i transfer into an excel sheet. Once I import the info into the sheet I begin my formatting.
Now the issue I'am having is most of the cells are directly coming from raw data.
Now It won't allow me to format to my liking!
Some Examples...

339,66 should actually be $339.66
29.912.79 should be $29,912.79
0,00 should be for all cases like this $0
120,000 should really be just 120
59,67 should in turn be $59.67

now the problem I get is when I right click on any of these cells they don't give me the return value that is neede.
Im am stuck with resolving this before I send the finalized report in.
If anyone can help me its would be greatly appreciated?

Either your raw data is invalid or the way you are importing is not correct.

In the first line is the raw data showing as containing a comma instead of a decimal point and the second line showing a period instead of a comma?

If your raw data is showing as 339,66 vs 339.66 then you need a better formatted report.

What is the raw data separated by; commas, hypens, spaces or what?
Is the raw data a text file before you import it?

Do you have the ability to save the output of the raw data into a .txt file versus a .csv? Do you have options?

Thanks for the info...
carefully and thourougly I went back to import thru the import wizard an then go thru these following steps...
it comes up with
> .Delimited > next > Delimiters > .Tab checked off > next(This next step was the one I was overlooking) advanced tab >
then change "Decimal Seperator from . to ,
and the "Thousands Seperator from , to .
then next and finish and voila' its my way!
The data comes into the sheet jsut the way
I wanted it to as you explained as well.

So its that simple, Guess now I would share the wealth incase someone also has this issue they can raet assured to attck it with this style..

Peace and thanks to to all...
