Hi
I have created excel file. This contains 5 worksheets. say sheet1 to sheet5. Now I need to give different password for these sheets seperately. So that I will give the same excel sheet to 5 persons. They should open their particular sheet with their password. i.e person 2 can open sheet2 only with the password. He cant open any of other sheets. Is it possile?

Depends. If you're running 2003, then yes, you can do this.

You can do it with 2000 also. Tools, Protect Worksheet, then set a password for the sheet. Do the same for the other sheets in your workbook.

But I dont want to view the sheets also. i.e sheet 1 shouble be viewd by by user1 . he should not view other sheets also.

You still didn't state which version of Excel you're running. Taking the unknown into consideration, and NOT assuming you're running 2003, the simplest way, without going into separate, password protected workbooks, would be hide the data and then protect the sheet. Giving each sheet a separate password, appropriate to each user. Hiding the sheet won't work, but hiding the data in each sheet will.
If you're running 2003, then there are other ways, as I said above.
