We have this problem in the company that I work: When I try to open an excel file , excel generates the followong error and shutsdown:

The instruction at "0x30050ceb" referenced memory at "0x00000196". The memory could not be "read"

The memory adress changes each time.

I've noticed that when I first start the excel from the quicklaunchicon, and then try to open the file, there are no problems. Everything goes just the way it is supposed to.

And a another thing I've found out:
When I take the computer off the company's network, all excel files open smoothly.

I don't know a way to make the excel work properly so someone please help...? Could it have something to do with the ODBC settings?
