My new installation of Microsoft 2003 (new computer) doesn't allow me to update links between Publisher and Excel that were setup under my old computer. When I do try to update an excel table or graph linked into Publsiher the fonts and proportions get very distorted. I've tried changing fonts in the Excel file to basic Arial but that didn't change the results. I also tried re-establishing the link but the results were just as distorted. I can paste the table/graph as a picture with no problem.
I am running this off a server. Others in the network are not having this probelm with these same files. Does this sound like a bad install? Any suggestions as to why the excel and publisher are communicating so badly on my machine?
