Hi,

Anybody have any ideas about the following?

I have an excel workbook with hyperlinks to bitmaps and jpegs. The hyperlinks to the bitmaps work fine, they open up in mspaint.

The hyperlinks to the jpegs do not work, I have tried setting the default application exactly as it is set for bitmaps and still no joy.

When I set the default application up as MS photo editor (or image manager??!), I get a message similar to the following "There are no pictures to view in this location, there are other files, would you like to view those instead?". If I click yes, I get a view of the directory that contains my spreadsheet!!!!!

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Danny97

I had difficulties opening http://www.geocities.com/one_human/advanced.html but eventually got it by getting the same offered link from this Google search.

See Tip #6 about the MS Paint fix and the related MS article.
