Excel, blank spread sheet open...
The grid lines are visible that divides all the rows and columns...

I select a block of cells, say from A1 to D10 and then I choose to fill in the block with a yellow background and save it...

I change my mind and remove the yellow fill in the blocked area and change it back to white using the Paint Can icon and choosing either "No Fill" or the white color...

In each case the grid lines DO NOT reappear on the spreadsheet...

How do I get the gridlines back???

thanx
Steve

when you want to reverse the hilighting and get the grid lines back you can select the area and choose "no fil" not white.

You can also use format / cell / borders /, and change selected border lines or groups of them to ANY color you want. there is an option on that window to choose which color you want.
