Specs: Windows XP
I am trying to do a ranking from first place to last place in 3 different colums.

My colum answers are in colum G K and O

Colum G Row 3 has an answer of 151 and is the highest so far giving answer of 1 and then the rest go down to 2 or 3 etc.

when i get to colum k row 15 and i enter 201 then it becomes highest and answer becomes number 1

moving the g3 answer down to 2.

G K 0
100 175 95
201 68 151

in this example the ranking of 201 would be first. then down to 175 in second then down to 151 in third. and so on.

You don't say where you want these rankings to be placed or how you'll know which rank is associated with which number.

Please explain further.

G K and O are all the same that i need ranking. its a continuos list. its like a first attempt second attempt and third attempt situation. which is why the different colums. but if person A's 3rd attempt beats the person B's 1st attempt. but The rankings will go in colums H L and P.

I'm not sure why you need three rankings, if the third attempt beats the first (unless you're trying to track movement of places?). If I understand you correctly, I would use another column which has the formula

Then when you want to get the ranking, just use

(I'm assuming you put the "max" formula in column Q)
