I am very new to Excel and need some help. all I need to do is to use an ID in the following hyperlink: http://www.wotnots.co.uk/property/i... The ID here is 2402. I want to change it to the ID number which is in the first column and is different on every row. I want to ahve the ID number to be the same as the number in the hyperlink. Thank you very much. I will try it in the morning. I have had a tiring day dealing with clients. Yes! Believe it or not, people are still buying property in France.

Hi HTH,
I am sorry for the delay, Victor Meldrew, I tried the formula that you sent but I only get this: property/images/property0_image1.jpg"
I can see that it works but I need it to put the ID number where it shows"property0_" similar to this:property/images/property10002_image1.jpg"

The property ID no. is in the first column A and is titled PropertyID. The code you kindly gave changed the PropertyID to 0 underlined.
I have 3 web sites devaoted to property sales, on one of these I have a Computer page. Would you like me to add a link to your site(s) in return for your help?

In case you are not English, Victor Meldrew is a acharacter in a TV sitcom, whose catch phrase is " I don't believe it.
I still need help. I need to put the PropertyID, which is in column A, starting from row 2 into th formula. So that each different ID appears in the formula for my images. This is what I need to acheive: ...www.wotnots.co.uk/property/images/property3001_image5.jpg the first line is ....www.wotnots.co.uk/property/images/property2406_image5.jpg. there are 6 different columns of images, but I can modify any code you send me for each column, I think. Here is a link to the XML file I have produced to date ....wotnots.co.uk/PropertyfeedDec2008.xml
Thank you in anticipation. Please reply if you are unable to help and I will seek advice elsewhere.
Kind regards,
Clive

Sorry to be a nuisance. I just want to thank you. I siply changed A1 to A2 and it worked. it is like magic. Thank you so very much.
I really nust learn more about Excel.
My only problem now is that I saved the finiished product as XML data, from which I had started, and it did not save. I am sure I will find a way round that.
Thanks again,
Clive
