I used to drag the lower right corner of a cell and it would fill each cell below in sequence. I know I can put numbers (i.e. 1,2) in consecutive cells and grab them and it will continue in sequence but I want to know if there is a setting that has been changed. Now when I enter a number in a cell if I grab the lower right corner, it REPEATS that number only in each cell that I drag to. I hope that makes sense.... Is there a setting I have somehow changed? Thanks for helping my dumb ass out!!!!

You must have numbers in two consecutive cells to start make a series, otherwise the dragging will only result in copying. The two numbers tells Excel what increments to proceed the series with.
1,2 -> 3,4,5
1,3 -> 5,7,9
1,4 -> 7,10,13 etcNigel
This is just a sig
