Excel file cannot be accessed

CPU/Ram: Xeon/1GB DDR

I have an Excel file which got damaged while i was working on that and the pwer went off. I cannot open the file now as it says file cannot be accesssed or it may be read only or the server is not responding. Kindly help

Try making a copy of the file and re-name the copy then open it. Has been known to work with knackered Word files.
