In Excel 2000- A user received the message "Cannot shift objects off sheet"
This is a spreadsheet that's been used for months without this problem.
The macro calls for a column insert.
She can't manually insert the column either. The 'insert' selection is greyed out.
The is no protection on the worksheet, although there is protection on the workbook. (An old password that she doesn't remember ever using)

Sounds like there is something entered somewhere in the last column. Try deleting the entries and retry the macro.
