Microsoft Office 2007 standard - upgrade
January 23, 2011 at 01:12:38
Specs: Windows 64, i7/8GB
I have just bought a new laptop with windows 7 home premium. I loaded my microsoft office 2007 and copied my files onto a separate hard drive. There is an excel spreadsheet I use practically daily so I created a shortcut and pasted it onto my desktop. When I try to open the file by double clicking on my desktop I keep getting the following message "There was a problem sending the command to the Program". Excel opens with no file. However when I go to the location of my file and double click it there it opens with no prblems.

Thanks for your quick reply. But It is the same for any of the excell files I put on the desktop. It works fine for the Word and Power Point files from the desktop. It's just the excell files. When I try it on my old PC with windows XP it works fine????????????????????????????????????
