Cause a drop down menu in Excel to change another Cell.

For example if Cell A1 = "AAA" then Cell B2 = 10 but if Cell A1 = "BBB" then Cell B2 = 20?

In cell B2 enter the formula =IF(A1="AAA",10,IF(A1="BBB",20,""))there are many ways you could do this but you'd need to be more specific about how many different conditions there are and what the results of each condition are.

If you have a relatively large number of conditions to deal with, an IF function can be cumbersome. Another option is to use VLOOKUP. With VLOOKUP you can build a table of choices that is essentially unlimited. A table of data might also be easier to change than a IF function, especially if the IF function is long and complicated.

As AlteK mentioned, there are lots of options, but we'd need more details to offer any more suggestions.
