Specs: Windows XP
I have two seperate worksheets and i want to have a cell on the first sheet that tells me whether or not tasks have been completed for certain jobs. In the second sheet "yes" is put into the cells that the tasks under the entire job have been completed or "no" if they havent been completed. How can i have the cell in the first sheet say "yes" if all of the tasks have been completed or "no" if the they havent?

This formula will count the number of cells that contain data in A1:A45 and compare it the number of "Yes" entries in B1:B45.

If the numbers match, it will produce Yes. If not, No.

=IF(COUNTA(A1:A45) = COUNTIF(B1:B45,"Yes"),"Yes","No")

Obviously, this formula will need to be modified to fit your exact situation. I'm just showing you the concept.

Let us know if that works for you.
