Comment: I have a column of first & last names in all UPPER CASE. So, I inserted a column before that one and used the Proper Function to convert the all UPPER CASE names to PROPER CASE (only first letter of each word capitalized.) My question is -- how do I now take the new column of my desired results and turn that into actual text as opposed to a column of formulas dependent upon the next columns entries? I need to delete the original column and only show the new column with names in PROPER case. Thanks much. :)

Reply: (edit)Brian Select the data range. Copy it. Choose "Edit..." - "Paste Special..." Then Select "Values" and hit OK. When you're done, have a closer look at that Paste Special dialogue box - there's some pretty useful stuff in there. (You can access it thru' a right-click, too...) Hope that helps Tom

Reply: (edit)Tom, You know - it's been so long since I needed to do something like this! As soon as I read your suggestion - it came back to me. I was thinking way to complicated. Thanks for your help! Brian
