Excel Compiler Error

OS: Win XP
CPU/Ram: Pentium 4 758

When I open Excel 2000 I get a message saying, "compiler error in hidden module: AutoExec New." When I close it I get a message saying, "compiler error in hidden module: DistMod."

Something is also happening with this that adds Addins to Word2000 related to Snagit & PDF files. I uncheck this but during use of Excel or PDF's it returns. Then when I shut off my computer I have to go through a bunch of dialog boxes saying can't close Word because a dialog active switch is open and that there is a compiler error, can't fix command utility debugging.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have WinXP Pro, go to Start/Control Panel/User Settings

If you have WinXP Home, go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2
