Excel can't wake printer

Excel 2000 seems to have trouble waking an HP Laserjet 8150. When a user tries to print from excel as her first job of the day, printing fails with an error message (can't print to <printername> on <printerport>). All other programs, however, are able to wake the printer and successfully print.

Have you installed any service packs for Office 2000? I remember reading that one service pack fixed a bug where Excel 2000 would not refresh its list of network printers.... Hope that helps
