Unless I'm missing something deeper in your question...

Right click the file name and choose Send to --> CD-RW

I Tried burning the file to CD. It burned perfect but when I try to open it it says invalid format. Thanks

Did you open Excel and select File, Open, then browse to the CD?

Do other files burn properly?

Did you use Send to -> CD RW or did you burn it in some other manner?
