I have an Excel sheet that has over 1900 addresses in single column. I need them in Excel spread over 3 multiple Columns (Company, Street, City/ST/Zip).
Below is an example of how the data is listed. I know this is is possible with VBS but that is over my head.
3 D Enterprises Contracting Corp
3257 Lochness Dr
Lexington, KY 40517
3 W Construction Company Llc
223 Glendover Rd
Lexington, KY 40503
A & A Mechanical Inc
1111 Ulrich Ave
Louisville, KY 40219
The link to the Excel file is here: www.hbalexington.com/lfucg.xlsThank you in advance for your help - it is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Steven Gabbard

In B1:B2 enter:
1
4In C1 enter:
=INDIRECT("A"&B1)In D1 enter:
=INDIRECT("A"&B1+1)In E1 enter:
=INDIRECT("A"&B1+2)Select C1:E1 and drag down to auto fill one row.
Select B1:E2 and drag down to auto fill to row 1929.
With B1:E1929 still selected, do a:
Edit...Copy
Edit...Paste Special...Values

Sweet - it worked. Makes sense to. Thanks for teaching me something new.
What does the last step do. On my end it did not do anything as I already had the informatoin I needed Unless it was just to copy and paste over the old information.
Again, thank you. This saved me a lot of time.

re: What does the last step do. On my end it did not do anything
Sure it did. You put formulae in C1:E1929 right?
Do the last step and see what's in the cells afterwards.
