Excel 2007 was recently installed on this computer. Now, when I double-click an Excel spreadsheet, Excel 2007 launches but the file will not open. If I minimize the Excel window, the spreadsheet appears. Excel will also load the document if I open it from within the program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! -MikeG

Not exactly what you're experiencing, but maybe the MSKB has something on your specific problem.

I had same problem when I started using 2007 version. Just install this plug-in http://www.office-backup.com/downlo... it helped me to work it out.
