|Excel 2007. I want to be able to create a master price list (Column B, row by row = product by product). Then, when we get a new shipment/invoice, I want to be able to pull the corresponding data into the excel workbook, COMPARE the price changes (IF they changed) and if possible send that data to a new column or at least highlight only the changes. Is that a possible simple function, not getting into sql or access or vb or anything?|
Example: Original Price List Column A = name (will not change) Column B = price (B1 = $1.00, B2 = $2.00)
New price list (new workbook? or new sheet?) shows Column A stays the same but B1 is now $1.25, and B2 has not changed.
Is there a way to highlight B1 so I can notice the changes immediately?
Or better yet is there a way to copy/dump that changed price into another column (for example, have Column C row C1 show $1.25 (price changed) but show nothing for C2 which did not change?
Thanks help is appreciated.
