We have some spreadsheets where tabs with detail feed to another tab that has the summary in the same workbook. For certain staff only, it does not update the tab once the new data is input. For other users with the same version of Excel, it updates as it should. The tab that needs to be updated is a summary tab that is protected so we are unable to just to manually have it point to the updated totals. We've attempted saving as new files completely and that didn't work. We've tried selecting the whole tab and making a copy and that didn't work either.
Any ideas on how to get this to work for all users would be appreciated.
Hi Have you checked that Workbook Calculations are set to "Automatic" for those users? in (Advanced/Formulas)
That didn't seem to work either. I did get it to work when both the detail tab and the summary tab for the month are copied over together instead of individually, so at least we can work with it now. That's never mattered before, but there you go. Thanks for your help!
