Excel 2007 Move Chart issue

So i can make a chart/graph just fine, but when i click the chart then the move chart button and then set it to send the chart to a new sheet that i name, it just makes the new sheet and deletes my chart/graph. Ive tried different combination's of selection and ive reread the directions numerous times.
Im at a loss, and this is for class. This particular Teacher teaches out of the book. If i cant figure it out from the book, then according to her I fail. Please help.

hi just doing something similar for someone, i just copied (right click) the whole chart from one tab page to another, dont know if thats right but it worked.
