Hi all,

Got strange problem with Excel 2003 on one laptop running under XP Pro.
Normally when you double click the *.xls file Excel should open it automatically, but this time Excel starts and no file is opened.
To make the story more funny when I click in Excel : File --> Open --> *.xls the file opens without any problems.

What's the matter with Excel setings?
Or maybe is the issue caused by the XP settings?

Thanks for any help!

Zennon

In Excell go to Tools, Options and click on the General tab. Remove the checkmark from the "Ignore other applications" option.
