Is there a way to filter records on one sheet by a column of data on another worksheet? In other words, perhaps a macro that runs the contents of a range of cells against the records of another worksheet by only showing those records that contain a value that is contained in the list(45,25,67,80) from another worksheet?

If I can avoid VB that would be nice... perhaps a COUNTIF scenario or macro solution... hmmm , Thanks in advance

You are aware that macros are written in Visual Basic, don't you? Excel uses VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Excel as the programming language for writing macros.

Depending on what you are trying to do, you might be able to use VLOOKUP to get the results you want.

With this list in Sheet1:

1 6
2 4
3 3
4 5
5 1
6 2

and this list in Sheet2:

1 1
2 3
3 5

Put this someplace and drag it down 3 cells
